A museum of Fine Arts in the Basque Country. The museum of Guétary occupies the ground floor of a magnificent, neo-Basque villa. It houses the collection of sculptures by G. Cl. De Swiecinski (1878-1958) as well as the Roman remains of a fish-salting factory dating from the 1st century. It also displays original editions and the original correspondence of Paul-Jean Toulet. In addition, the museum proposes a walk through the "stories of Guétary", stories of the men and traditions which have made a mark on this village. Finally, the museum of Guétary organizes exhibitions of contemporary art from May to October.
